Frysian Flag 2010 |
The multinational air excercise Frysian Flag at Leeuwarden Airbase
was cancelled on Thursday 15 April.
Fortunately, we caught three of the four waves during take off in
the morning session. The last wave got cancelled while they were
waiting at the thresholds. Reason of the cancellation was volcano
ashes in the air. We were glad to shoot pictures of the Gripens,
Hornets and Eagles during landing of the cancelled mission. Our
spotting trip ended at 10.30 local time... |
